Welcome to Pushkin House
Pushkin House is a Registered Charity owned and run by the Pushkin House Trust. We support and promote the splendour, richness and beauty of Russian culture in London and beyond. Pushkin House was established to serve as a home for high quality Russian culture in all its forms. Providing a focus for Anglo-Russian cultural exchange, education and information about the Russian language, arts, literature and music, we offer a resource for individuals and institutions alike.

An article by Jack Oates for The Moscow News
Douglas Smith is the award-winning author of "Former People: the Final Days of the Russian Aristocracy," a harrowing account of the nobility's fate after the revolution. A vibrant cultural programme
We have developed a lively, varied programme of Russian literature, art, film, music, theatre and dance, history, philosophy and politics. Our events include lectures and talks, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, films, concerts and readings, and we operate a well-stocked reference library of Russian culture.
We welcome and encourage collaboration with other institutions and groups. We run regular Russian courses provided by the Russian Language Centre, and we are establishing creative partnerships with major museums and libraries in Russia and the UK.
Collaborate, donate, support, become a Friend
We are charity funded by charitable donations. To maintain the House, provide rich cultural programmes and expand our activities in the future, we need and welcome new donors, supporters and Friends. You can find out more on our Donate page.
