Piano recital: Anna Peletsis and Tatiana Dardykina
This piano recital is given by two Russian pianists, international piano competition winners Anna Peletsis and Tatiana Dardykina. In the first half the works for piano solo by the great Romantic composers Schumann and Rachmaninov will be performed alongside the mid-20 th century work by Henri Dutilleux and Anna’s own composition. The original works for piano duet by Schubert, Ravel and Brahms will be explored in the second half of the concert.
Anna Peletsis is a graduate of Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow (Russia) and Royal College of Music in London (UK) and a winner of several International Piano Competitions in the UK and France. She has made solo debuts in prestigious concert halls across the UK such as the Wigmore Hall in London and the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester as well as appeared in solo recitals, chamber music and concerto performances in the UK, Germany, France, Latvia, Russia and the US.
Tatiana Dardykina has graduated from Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow (Russia) and Birmingham Conservatoire (UK) and has been a prize-winner of several International Piano Competitions in the UK, France and Greece. She appeared with solo, chamber music and concerto performances across the UK, France, Greece, Russia and the US having made her recital debut in the historic Birmingham Town Hall in Birmingham (UK) in 2009 as Birmingham Symphony Hall Prize Winner.
