Pushkin House Russian Family Programme: the Princess and the Pea

Bring in your children for an afternoon of fun! The Petrushka Studio will be performing an interactive version of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale, “The Princess and the Pea.” The play is about a skeptical prince who wants to make sure his wife-to-be is a real princess. To do so, the royal family secretly places a pea underneath her bed at night, believing that only a true princess could feel such a small disturbance. Will the princess pass the test and find true love?

As a part of the performance, the audience will be able to make decorations and even assist the characters. This is sure to be a fun and entertaining event that you and your family will not want to miss out on!
