Ten Centuries of Russian Art

Pushkin House presents the second season of its programme Ten Centuries of Russian Art in collaboration with the State Russian Museum, St Petersburg. 
The programme looks in depth at Russian art history 
and furthers understanding of Russia and Russian culture. Leading experts of Russian art host debates, presentations, book launches and even a very successful recent theatrical dinner.

Forthcoming events of 2013:

“Tudors, Stuarts and Russian Tsars: exchange in art” . Talk by Dr.Olga Dmitrieva, Deputy Director of Kremlin Museum in Moscow and co-curator of the exhibition “Tudors, Stuarts and the Russian Tsars 1509-1685” at the V[&]A in March.

Exhibition “Sheep and Dreams” (opens February) and panel discussion Women Artists in Modern and Contemporary Russia (21st February)

Exhibition ‘Torn from Darkness: Works by Felix Lembersky’ (opens 22nd April) and talk on Felix Lembersky’s art by Professor of University of Richmond, USA, Joe Troncale (14th May)
