THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.
Artists and members of the public are warmly invited to join Teatro Vivo and Dash Arts at Pushkin House to take part in a unique process to help create their latest theatrical project - Твистов / Twistov.
Твистов / Twistov, inspired by Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist, and to be staged in 2017, will present an extraordinary narrative of London told by migrant communities currently living here. Exploring parallels between Dickensian London and our city today, we will unearth rich tales that reveal the underworld, uncover the upper classes and give you a very different taste of the capital you thought you knew.
During January, Teatro Vivo is hosting 8 workshops across London, including this one at Pushkin House. By taking part in drama games, readings and writing exercises you will be shaping the characters and exploding the narrative which will eventually become the Twistov script. Join us at Pushkin House, and/or be part of all eight workshops, and help to shape the script as it develops.
These workshops are open to Londoners of any age or background who are interested in getting involved.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT. If you’re interested in signing up or finding out more, please email Sophie@dasharts.org.uk.
