RUSSIAN WINE CLUB: QUALITY AND PREMIUM WINES ENCORE

THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT

A wine of good quality does not have to be a premium wine, but a premium wine should always be a quality wine. What does it take to make a premium wine and how can we recognise it? Why does it have to be expensive, and what can you put in a bottle of wine to justify the price tag of £3,000? They are just the same grapes! Wine and its quality is something which always makes us feel uncomfortable, especially when we have to choose something for a party, a special occasion or to accompany our favourite meal in a restaurant, posh or not. We’ll discuss this and more, not forgetting that the best wine is always the wine we like best, irrespective of price, but we need to taste, compare and contrast the everyday and the outstanding. So come along to the Pushkin House Wine Club and discover for yourself the differences between quality and premium wines in yet another fine wine investigation.

As usual, there will be some extras and someone will go home with a prize wine after winning the mini-quiz.
