Igor Outkine – vocal, one-man band accordion
Sarah Harrison – domra, violin
The single best way to mark День Победы in London. Igor Outkine and Sarah Harrison share war songs known and loved by all Russians at home and abroad. A number of highly talented composers and poets were among their authors, and no Soviet family get-together could pass without singing them. And as with all war songs, while the lyrics were engendered by war, their shared theme is a longing for peace.
