BIOGRPAHIES
Anna Gorbachyova, soprano, studies with Rosa Mannion on the Masters Programme at the Royal College of Music. In December 2009 Anna was awarded a place and a full scholarship at the Royal Academy Opera .
JULIAN GALLANT read music at St Anne’s College 1984-1987, then pursued his studies as a pianist in Switzerland. Since his piano début recital at St John’s Smith Square in 1992 he has performed all over the world as a soloist and with ensembles including the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, Orquestra Sinfonica Brasiliera, Kiev Chamber Orchestra and Moscow Virtuosi. His recordings include Piano Concertos of Our Time and a disc of French music for two pianos. Julian Gallant has played for many distinguished singers and instrumentalists including sopranos Valeria Stenkina and Tatiana Pavlovskaya, the world-renowned baritone Sergei Leiferkus and violinist Grigori Zhislin.
Gallant is Director of Pushkin House, a centre of Russian culture in central London.
