A talk by Elena Temicheva, Project Manager in Agency for Social Information
Elena Temicheva will speak in Russian about the work of the Moscow-based ASI – the Agency for Social Information.
The Agency for Social Information (ASI) is a non-profit and independent agency promoting civic initiatives and providing information support to NGOs. The Agency, established in 1994, is one of the leading expert organizations in the area of civic initiatives, corporate responsibility promotion, and stakeholder engagement. ASI has its own regional correspondent network that consists of the partner NGOs in more than 20 Russian regions.
ASI’s news and articles are published on the ASI website ( www.asi.org.ru ). The news features the work of non-governmental organizations, as well as social events that have an impact on society and ASI disseminates them to the media, NGOs, authorities of different levels, and socially responsible companies (more than 3000 subscribers daily).
ASI initiates and manages a wide range of social projects, holds media events, publishes books, brochures, information and analytical bulletins which are related to specific issues within the social sphere. The Agency has implemented series of PR and social marketing campaigns, aimed at influencing public opinion and encouraging people to change their behavior.
|Elena Temicheva is a journalist and project manager for non-commercial projects. She is a graduate of Moscow State University and she has worked for the Agency for Social Information in the capacity as a correspondent and editor. From 2000 she has worked at the Agency as project manager and she also teaches in the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University. Her specialist fields are education and training for non-commercial organizations and journalism to do with social issues and providing information for PR companies on social themes and for charity and volunteer groups.|
