Russian Children's World: London Youth Maths Olympiad

For young people aged between 7 to 16 years.

If you love maths puzzles and brain-teasers, love solving original problems and tasks and are between 7-16 years old, join us in the third London Mathematical Olympiad!  Our Olympiad is open to all students, both Russian and English-speaking. We follow the principles of the Olympic movement - latitude, democracy and openness in the Olympics.

Mathematical tasks were selected with assumption that you have enough basic Maths knowledge but many of them would require your gifted skills, ingenuity and common sense.

There are two rounds of the Olympiad in February and March for five different age groups: school years 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 and 10-11. Each group will be tackling numeracy, logic, geometry and general acuity tests.  Your submissions for the first round in February will be made by e-mail in response to tasks sets that can be found on this website . The first round will be completed by 23 February. Participation is free of charge. Qualified participants  will be invited to proceed for the second round on 29 March at Pushkin House. There will be a £15 entry fee.

All participants will receive an Olympiad Certificate and the winners of each age group will be awarded a diploma and a prize.
