Receptionist / Marketing Coordinator (Maternity Cover for 9 months from 20th December)

Hours: 10am - 2pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (sometimes the start time will be 9am)
Pushkin House is looking for a personable and self-motivated receptionist/marketing coordinator to cover the maternity leave of the current post-holder.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Russian and have previous marketing experience.
Your duties will include the following:
Opening the building at 9am; Answering phone calls; Greeting visitors and providing information about Pushkin House, exhibition and events; Accepting and sorting post; Preparing tea, coffee for meetings and private hire. Occasionally setting up for private hire events that take place in the morning/afternoon; Making sure the reception area/hall is well presented; current programmes are displayed; flyers, newspapers and magazines are up to date; Selling books and tickets in person and on the phone; Recording any sales in relevant spreadsheets; Recording website ticket sales in relevant events' spreadsheets; Other duties as occasionally required by the Senior Manager and the Executive Director.
Working closely with Social Media Coordinator to prepare marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; Preparing marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising sales data; Searching for new (and helpful) marketing tools; Maintaining good relationships with and expanding the network of media and press partners; Leasing with Russian and British Press; Creating Facebook events; Occasionally translating press releases, event blurbs from/to English/Russian.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Good personal presentation.
Proficiency in English and in MS Office are essential, as is a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team.
The ideal person will have digital marketing and public relations experience.
Knowledge of Russian is desirable, although not essential.
Experience in general office administration and reception is important for this role, with the range of duties this entails.
Previous experience working with arts charities and venues is desirable.
